The four race nags have failed in separate incidents within a five- day stretch.
Since the launch of Kentucky Derby week-- on April 29-- two nags failed suddenly from unknown causes at the track according to officers.
Parents Pride failed on Saturday and Chasing Artie on Tuesday. Both steeds were trained by Saffie JosephJr.
" People who do not come to the track do not see the passionate care of these nags," Joseph told CNN on Thursday.
" Right now, I do not know why this has happed, which makes us uneasy. I'm uneasy and broken."
Joseph told CNN the disquisition into the deaths has set up" no significant findings yet."
A prophet for the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission( KHRC) did not address Joseph's commentary when asked about the disquisition and original findings.
The KHRC handed a statement, which said the disquisition is active and posthumous examinations will be performed at the University of Kentucky. No schedule was handed.
Joseph also trains the recruit Lord Miles which is entered in the Kentucky Derby. When asked about any redundant care given to his steed, Joseph told CNN that" redundant blood work has been done to make sure nothing is being missed."

NPR's Sacha Pfeiffer talks with Joe Drape of The New York Times about the recent racehorse deaths that have passed at Churchill Downs in the week ahead of the Kentucky Derby.
Horse racing's Triple Crown kicks off hereafter with the Kentucky Derby. But its big story so far isn't about the competition. This week four nags failed in a five- day span at the Churchill Downs racetrack, where the derby is held. Two were euthanized after suffering injuries. The cause of the other two deaths is still unclear, but the coach of those nags has been suspended from the Kentucky Derby, and another of his nags has been scratched from the race. Joe Drape covers steed racing for The New York Times, and he is with us now. Hi, Joe.
PFEIFFER Joe, these steed deaths have been a big problem for this assiduity for a veritably long time. But in terms of these most recent four deaths, is there anything differently you've learned through your reporting about what happed, what caused them?
DRAPE Well, it's being taken veritably serious. And the first two were deaths on the racetrack. commodity happed. It was skeletomuscular. They couldn't recover from it, so they were euthanized. The two unforeseen deaths is what mystifications everybody. You know, there is a new medium in place right now called the Horse Racing Integrity and Safety Authority. And so they have amped it up. They have taken blood and hair samples. They have delved . But they are puzzled, principally. You know, and my reporting over the times on this has shown that 56 of the time when they do a postmortem, when they examine a steed that had failed, they can not come with a definitive opinion or prognostic what happed to the steed.
PFEIFFER Churchill Downs put out a statement about these steed deaths, and it called them fully inferior, but it also said largely unusual. Are they really largely unusual?
DRAPE They're largely unusual. You know, what has happed they have actually done a enough good job. We did a series with the Times in the early aughts, and at that point, two nags failed per thousand thresholds. It set off a reform movement. They've an equine injury database. They made some changes in rules and regulations both on the specifics and how they are treated and how the racetracks are configured. And it's nearly gone in half to that point. This once time, it was1.25 per thousand races. And, you know, the fact of the matter is there is noway going to be zero losses in steed racing, and that is what society is ultimately going to have to grapple with.
PFEIFFER Joe, you've reported that the casualty rate in theU.S. is21/2 to five times lesser than in the rest of the racing world. What are we doing in the United States that is causing that?
DRAPE Too numerous drug and medicines. They enough much run what we call Hay, Oats and Water in the rest of the world. You know, if your steed is sore, you are not going to give him a corticosteroid to get him to the track to race. They are more watchful with their veterinarian examinations. They are more watchful with their testing. You know, they just have a different worldview that has worked for them. And not only are we21/2 to five further than them. Horse racing is far more popular in the rest of the world than it's in America.
PFEIFFER Dying then, it seems like. It seems like there is declining interest.
Trim Total declining interest. You know, you could argue it's on life support, and it's going to be sort of a hard evening for that. nags mean so important to the country. They helped us settle this place. They are similar a part of our sports history. You know, it's on life support. They are trying to get it under control. Eventually, we, me, you, who is watching Saturday or who is not watching Saturday will decide how long they will tolerate the sport.
